Stressed Out

90%

An overwhelming 90% of participants stated that they are stressed out. To that end a few very interesting things came up that were immediately apparent. We didn’t go into detaiil as to why but some of the other answers reflect what the overall problem may be. – RFFocus Urban Radio Programmer Poll

Like their Jobs

Do You Feel there is Racism in Radio?

91%

Not much of a surprise here especially since the owner of this blog comes from radio. An overwhelming 91% of participants feel racism is prevelant and a problem in radio today. – RFFocus Urban Radio Programmer Poll


Are You Comfortable With Where you Are?

 Do You Often Worry about Getting Fired

Are you Depressed on Your Job Now

Only 30% feel they are currently depressed in their working situations which would make sense since depression and stress are actually different things – RFFocus Urban Radio Programmer Poll

Have You Ever Been Depressed working in the industry?

This response was different 83% of the participants state they have been depressed. We have all had those periods when we were not working and the industry threw us away…. Until the next job comes along then we’re popular again… – RFFocus Urban Radio Programmer Poll

Do You Feel Great about Your Future in the Industry?

Do You Feel UNCERTAIN about Your Future in the Industry?

Almost three quarters of participants do feel uncertain. A total of 71% to be exact.

Do You Think You will find Another Job After Your Current One…

This has to be THE biggest shocker of all…just 5% of the participants think there is another job waiting for them if their current one ends. This would explain the stress even more. – RFFocus Urban Radio Programmer Poll
