Rosemont Group Capital Partners’ CEO Freddie Achom has confirmed the acquisition of its social media management business, JustGo by TuneCore. Details of the deal were not disclosed but TuneCore itself was acquired by French Media Company Believe Digital just last year.
JustGo launched in 2013 by founder Justin Golshir, raising $1.7 million in venture capital led by Freddie Achom’s Rosemont Group Capital Partners. The company quickly positioned itself as a dominant force in social media management in the music industry launching its beta exclusively focused on the fast growing electronic dance music industry.
The pioneering social media audience management platform for musicians was represented in more than 165 countries and had a combined social media audience of more than 120 million fans throughout the world.
TuneCore announced the acquisition of JustGo last week and will re-launch the platform as TuneCore Social, an all-in-one social media management and analytics tool for musicians that is free to use for all of its distribution customers in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia markets.

As part of the acquisition, JustGo’s Founder and CEO, Justin Golshir will join the TuneCore team and lead the integration and help expand TuneCore’s artist services product offering. The addition of this product furthers TuneCore’s commitment to provide artists with the resources needed to grow their careers and get their music heard by more people around the world.
