Urban radio has produced some of the most phenomenal jocks in the history of the industry. Our styles and rhymes were often mimicked by jocks in other formats. In today’s urban radio climate it’s so easy to forget those who have paved the way. While urban radio may not be as exciting as it once was, I’m sure we can all remember those who inspired us and who made an indelible mark on the urban radio industry.
