THE FM DIAL GETS LOUDER IN PORTLAND ROSE CITY RADIO LAUNCHES SPORTSRADIO 95.5 “THE GAME” ON MAY 12TH

— New Station Will Be Home to the Trail Blazers, Ducks, Seahawks and The Jim Rome Show —

On Monday, May 12th at 9 a.m., Portland will become one of the rare U.S. markets to boast an all-sports station on the FM dial when Rose Radio launches 95.5 “The ”. “The ” will be anchored by the Play-by-Play broadcasts from the top sports teams in the market – the Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle Seahawks and University of Oregon Ducks.
95.5 “’s” weekday lineup will be highlighted by The Jim Rome Show (9 a.m. – noon ), recently cited by Talkers Magazine as “the most important sports talk show host in America” in their “Heavy Hundred” issue.
“The Game” will also give Portland a full selection of and sports programming.
The weekday lineup will include The Morning Sports Page with Kenny and Katy featuring KATU Sports Director Katy Brown and sportswriter Ken Vance (6 a.m. ““ 9 a.m. PT) and The Bald-Faced Truthâ„¢with John Canzano (3 p.m. ““ 6 p.m. PT; John was recently honored by the Associated Press as one of the top two sports writers in the country for his work in The Oregonian) and Overtime with Gavin Dawson (6 p.m. ““ 7 p.m. PT).

95.5 “The Game” Launches on May 12th:
The Drive on FOX with Chris Myers & Sean Farnham (12 – 3 p.m. PT); FOX GameTime ReAct with JT “The Brick” (7 – 11 p.m. PT); The Third Shift on FOX with Ben Maller (11 p.m. – 3 a.m. PT); and The First Team on FOX with Steve Czaban (3 – 6 a.m. PT) will round out 95.5 “The Game’s” weekday programming.
The weekend schedule will be highlighted by Costas on the Radio (Sunday’s from 5 –
7 p.m.), Sports Business Radio (Sunday’s from 3 – 5 p.m.) and additional FOX Sports programming.
