Chris Brown and Jill Scott join Alicia Keys as performers for this year’s BET AWARDS ’11. Brown, whose “F.A.M.E.” album is #3 on the R&B , leads the nominations race with nods in six categories. His top nominations include “Best Male R&B Artist,” “,” and “Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice” for his collaboration with and Lil Wayne on “Look at Me Now.” R&B superstar, poet, and actress Jill Scott, who is set to release her fifth studio album “” this month, will also take to the BET AWARDS ’11 stage with what promises to be a captivating performance. Also on the roster, Alicia Keys returns to the stage to commemorate the re-release of her multi- “Songs in A Minor” and celebrate her decade-long contributions to the music industry.
