SiriusXM to Broadcast Comprehensive Live Coverage of Republican and Democratic National Conventions

 width= Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced that it will broadcast extensive coverage of the Republican and Democratic National Conventions””including a dedicated, limited-run “Convention Radio” channel””delivering breaking news, live coverage, reaction and analysis from a wide range of perspectives across multiple channels from the heart of each event.
SiriusXM’s exclusive “Convention Radio” channel will kick off on the first day of the Republican National Convention, August 27, and air from 6:00 am ““ 7:00 pm ET daily through August 30 on SiriusXM channel 142 and on SiriusXM Patriot Plus online. “Convention Radio” will also air from the Democratic National Convention from September 4-6 from 6:00 am ““ 7:00 pm ET on SiriusXM channel 142 and on SiriusXM Left Plus online.

“Convention Radio” promises a robust mix of convention news, analysis, and perspective from the frontlines of each convention with special programming from CQ Roll Call and Media Matters, as well as convention editions of SiriusXM’s Politics Powered by Twitter with Lee Brenner, Slade Sohmer and Pamela Kirkland. Throughout the RNC, “Convention Radio” will feature shows hosted by The Republican National Convention, and Will Cain and S.E. Cupp from TheBlaze.com, Glenn Beck’s news, information, and opinion network. Throughout the DNC, “Convention Radio” will feature shows hosted by Daily Kos, as well as a broadcast of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s forum in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Administration.
SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S.””the 24/7 non-partisan channel dedicated to the “Politics of the United States”””will carry every speech from both conventions, offering listeners uninterrupted gavel-to-gavel coverage from the convention podium.
The RNC and DNC will also be covered on 14 SiriusXM channels, offering a wide range of perspectives, including:

  1. Canceling cspan is the last straw…. As soon as my subscription is up I’m canceling Siriusxm I hope they get the picture… There service keeps getting worse.. There reps are barely audible and barely speak English and there Internet radio socks.. They lost artbell cspan and they have the to say there improving there service… The board of directors needs to fire the ceo and get someone else before he completely ruins the company
