REACH Media Makes Changes

GaryBernsteinGary Bernstein, SVP/ Programming of REACH MEDIA exits.  Bernstein has been credited with the notable success of many of REACH MEDIA’s popular programs such as: The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, The Yolanda Adams Show, NEWSOne NOW with Roland Martin, TD Jakes Empowering Moments and KEEPING IT REAL with Rev. AL Sharpton.  Bernstein has been at the helm of REACH MEDIA as SVP/Programming since its merger with Radio One/Syndication One in 2013 and prior to that was the head of Radio One/Syndication One for seven years.  Bernstein told sources “I enjoyed my time with RADIO ONE/SYNDICATION ONE. I am grateful to ALFRED LIGGINS and DAVID KANTOR for their confidence and support in my efforts to help develop the most successful expansion of Urban syndicated talent and programs in radio history. Thanks to the many program hosts, producers, and support staff, REACH MEDIA is a real powerhouse and I am indebted as my life is enriched forever.”  Prior to joining Radio One, Bernstein worked for 14 years as president of SuperRadio Networks.  REACH Media Inc, was founded by Urban radio syndicated morning show host Tom Joyner in 2003.

  1. Hector Hannibal is out and there have been massive pay cuts of up to 35%. Some long time full timers have been cut back to hourly with max of 32 hours per week.
