AND ANNOUNCE MARK CHARNOCK AS NEW CHIEF DIGITAL OFFICER 

Largest Urban Radio Company Taps Monster Executive to Grow Digital Audio Business

Radio One, RFFocus Silver Spring, MD…November 29, 2016: Radio One CEO Alfred Liggins announced Mark Charnock as the new Chief Digital Officer of Reach Media and the Local Radio One Group during a recent quarterly earnings call.  Liggins said, “We have made a significant new hire for our local digital business, which I believe will help us grow that revenue stream over time.”

Mark Charnock comes to Reach Media and Radio One most recently from Monster as Senior Vice President, Media and Sales at Monster, a company he had been with for 13 years in various sales positions of increasing responsibility. Charnock is a strategic, multi-faceted and entrepreneurial sales professional with proven success as a leader in both start-up and established media firms. Building infrastructure and growing business capacity and digital revenue streams is what Charnock has become respected for over his progressive 23 year career.  His expertise in web-based products and sales, including starting three companies is expected to be a good fit in the Radio One, soon to be renamed, Urban One entrepreneurial, multi-media culture.

CEO of RF Focus, Radio and Music Industry Veteran. Radio DJ, Programmer, Musician and Voice Talent. Graduated from Performing Arts in Buffalo, N.Y. and worked at the legendary KKBT (92.3 The Beat) during its nationwide heyday in the early 90s. Also worked for Stevie Wonder at KJLH.
