Radio One Philadelphia prepares for the Second Annual Music & Entertainment Conference to Philadelphia

On Sunday, March 15, 2009 the Marriott located at 12th & Market Street will play host to One Philadelphia whose stations include WPHI, 100.3 The Beat, WPPZ Praise 103.9, and 107.9 WRNB as we spotlight the industry elite along with up and coming talent with the 2009 edition of the Music and Entertainment Conference.  

The Second Annual Music and Entertainment Conference will feature three new customized workshops, along with four returning workshops from the inaugural event. Å“The Music and Entertainment Conference  is the brainchild of Philadelphiaâ„¢s Operation Manager, who says about this yearâ„¢s installment Å“The Music and Entertainment Conference was such a huge success last year that we are taking it to a larger venue so that we wonâ„¢t turn anyone away. Listeners will be able to learn from the experts in various workshops from R&B, Hip-Hop, Inspiration Workshop, Listen and Critique. However, this year we are introducing three new workshops; Å“Black Hollywood  starring Jamie Foxx, a Fashion Workshop  with fashion guru Eva Marcille, and Å“So You Think You Can Dance  with famed choreographer Fatima Robinson.
This will be HOLLYWOOD in Philadelphia .

This yearâ„¢s workshops include the Å“Fashion Workshop  whoâ„¢s panelist include Å“Americaâ„¢s Next Top Model  winner Eva Marcille along with fashion designer Mycheal Knight, and photographer Jerris Madison, the Å“So You Think You Can Dance Workshop  a fully interactive experience which mimics an actual dance audition hosted by famed choreographer Fatima Robinson, the Å“Black Hollywood Workshop  featuring Oscar Award winner Jaime Foxx, filmmakers Will Packer & Rob Hardy, actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, and actors Keith Robinson and Laz Alonso, the Å“Hip-Hop Workshop  which includes panelist such as , D-Nice, and Ron Browz, the Å“Inspiration Workshop  which includes WPPZ Praise 103.9 Morning Show host Yoland a Adams, Donald Lawrence, and Tye Tribbett , the Å“Listen and Critique Workshop  where producers and songwriters such as, Rapheal Saadiq, Michael Bivins, along with Kevin Liles, Ray J., Ricky Bell and Ronnie DeVoe will offer constructive criticism on who’s hot and who’s not, and the Å“R&B Workshop  whoâ„¢s panelist include Grammy award winning songwriter and performers along with platinum selling artist such as Brand y, Monica, , , and Rapheal Saadiq.

The Second Annual Music & Entertainment Conference is continuing to grow with more artists being confirmed to participate. This yearâ„¢s conference will also honor legendary names in the such as Bell Biv DeVoe, , Teddy Pendergrass, and Patti .
