Radio One Expands its Praise


Radio One has added inspirational gospel music footprint 106.1 FM in Baltimore, MD to its long list of radio stations. May 1, 2015, the new PRAISE joined the historic Baltimore cluster of WERQ-Q92 FM (Mainstream), WWIN FM-Magic (Urban AC), WOLB-AM (Black Talk) and WWIN-AM Spirit (Inspiration).

The new station will carry the Yolanda Adams Morning Show and The Nightly Spirit with Willie Moore, Jr., two shows from Radio One’s syndication company Reach Media. Additionally, local talent will soon be announced to inspire, inform and entertain Baltimore. The new PRAISE 106.1 FM will feature contemporary gospel music, interviews with leading gospel artists and programming to impact listeners from the inside – out. WWIN-AM Spirit Baltimore will continue to feature traditional gospel music, inspirational shows and programming reflecting Baltimore’s rich faith-community.
