Alan Ecklundwas announced as the new Regional Director of National Sales for Radio One’s Houston and Dallas markets.Alan is no stranger to the DFW. This broadcast radio veteran of over 40 years has served the region with distinction in various sales roles.After 25years of leadership and service to Clear Channel/iHeart, Alan joins Radio One as a regional guru and industry professional with a national sales expertise.

Alan started his career as a local accountmanager in DFW for KNOK-AM and FMin his early years. Continuing to prove his agility to learn and establish high-value relationships, Alan quickly climbed the ladder of success in leadership roles at Capital Broadcasting, Swanson Broadcasting, LBJCompany, Rusk Corporation and Gannett/Chancellor Broadcasting before his long-stint at iHeart. Having held several promotional titlesduring his time there, Alan’s most recent role was Vice President, Sales.
