RADIO ONE NAMES JENNIFER TUREC LAMONTAGNE REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL AND CORPORATE SALES
LaMontagne Leverages Over Two-Decades of Radio Sales and Leadership Experience to Continue Growth in Urban Format
New York, NY…May 17, 2015 – Radio One hires Jennifer Turec LaMontagne as the new Regional Director of National and Corporate Sales. Her appointment is effective immediately and she is based in the company’s New York office.
LaMontagne is responsible for the development of new corporate and national business for Radio One, the largest multi-media company owned by and targeted to Black America. She will report to Josh Rahmani, Vice President, National Sales.
“Jen is an experienced successful sales professional with a proven track record and we are excited to welcome her to Radio One,” said Rahmani. “She brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge and relationships and will certainly be a big asset to our team and to our advertisers.”
LaMontagnes’ over two decade career in radio sales has earned her the right to be called a radio veteran. Her work ethic, drive and exceptional leadership skills primed LaMontagne for a career steeped in promotional opportunities at most of the New York based leading broadcast companies. From CBS, Katz, Emmis and Interep to Inner City Broadcasting and most recently Emmis Communications; LaMontagne built her career from an Account Executive to General Sales Manager exceeding an $18M annual budget and producing shows like Circle of Sisters with over 60K attendees and $1M in sponsorships.
“After spending the past 12 years in urban radio at WBLS-FM/WLIB-AM in New York, I jumped at the chance to be a part of the largest urban media platform in the country,” said LaMontagne. “I look forward to joining the team and continuing to grow and lead in the urban media space.”
LaMontagne received her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Communications with a minor in Psychology.
