Radio host Rickey Smiley gets TV time on Fox

Hosts from four around the country will star in “Dish Nation,” a new Fox TV series airing in selected markets this summer.

Broadcasting Cable magazine reports that the entertainment magazine show will feature WPLJ-FM’s (95.5) “The Big Show with Scott Todd,” WHAT-FM (107.9) Atlanta’s “Rick Smiley ,” WDVD-FM (96.3) Detroit’s “Blaine Allyson” and KPWR-FM (105.9) Los Angeles’ deejay Felli Fel (who also is set to host MTV’s relaunch of “Pimp My Ride”).

“Dish” is set to debut July 25 for a six-week test run, and will air on Fox stations in seven markets including Channel 5 in this area.
