LOS ANGELES, CA – December 21, 2010 – In 2011 RFFocus , the most read urban radio online trade blog, would like to create the largest online industry database of current and past urban radio professionals and stations. This will include pictures, bios, email addresses, skills, accomplishments, social networking contact info, audio and more.
In 2010 we were BOMBARDED with requests from many individuals and corporations for urban radio people. Everything from long lost relatives to paying gigs to requests for rates at various radio stations. In an exhaustive online search for urban radio pros, we realized the information, even if available, is very hard to locate and not all in one place. As the leader in the urban radio industry, RFFocus wants to solve this problem and make RFFocus the central location for this information.
In 2011 we have big plans for RFFocus . We want to drive more opportunities directly to urban radio people and at the same time preserve and post the bios of both current and past urban radio pros for reference. Almost like an Urban Radio “Wikipedia.”
In order to do this, it’s going to take time, money and extra staff so we need your help. For a small subscription rate each month, we will send out a newsletter letting you know who we have added and what we have accomplished with your subscription. Asking for a standard donation is not enough because this effort is going to take several months, so we have designed 4 subscription gifts. All will include a monthly update and your name (if you wish) as a RFFocus History subscription supporter. Your subscription will also be charitable as we will take a portion of the proceeds and give to Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless in Atlanta. Be the first to help us help you.
If you would like to make a donation in another amount, contact us for our PayPal address.
