SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will broadcast an exclusive interview with President Barack Obama conducted by leading talk radio host Joe Madison on September 15 on his daily SIRIUS XM show on The Power (6:00 ““ 10:00 am ET, XM channel 169/SIRIUS Internet Radio channel 820).
Topics covered in the Oval Office interview include America’s relationship with Darfur, the midterm elections and housing issues. The President also told Madison about his favorite teacher and his just-announced children’s book, Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters, a tribute to thirteen historic American figures due out November 16.

Madison, a thirty-year veteran of talk radio, is widely recognized as a human and civil rights activist, abolitionist against slavery in Sudan and genocide in Darfur, television commentator, columnist, lecturer, labor and corporate spokesman, musician, and athlete. He is the former executive director of the Detroit NAACP and was later appointed director of the national NAACP political action department.
