Playster Giving Away Free Tablet and Headphones to Incentivize Subscribers

Playster will offer a free tablet and premium headphones for all who subscribe for one year to the unlimited entertainment platform, the first subscriber on-demand platform to do so.

Playster provides a choice of unlimited access to all forms of entertainment, including movies, TV, music, video games or books starting at $3.95. Consumers who subscribe to access content across all media types for $24.95 per month for a year will receive the tablet and premium headphones for free.

“Consumers have a number of entertainment platforms available to them, so we want to up the ante by providing consumers the widest amount of content across all forms media types with added incentives, including one low price and free hardware,” said Philip Keezer, CEO, Playster. “Since our beta launch, we’ve added much more content through partnerships across all forms of entertainment, and we will only continue to grow our offering while keeping our low subscriber fees.”

Playster’s top content provider partners include Findaway, Harlequin, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster, among others.

Playster includes tens of thousands of classic and current titles. From books (American Sniper by Chris Kyle, God: A Story of Revelation by Deepak Chopra, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson), audio books (George R.R. Martin’s “A Game of Thrones,” “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho), video games (“Duke Nukem 3D,” “Men of War”), more than 15 million songs from a variety of artists (Pitbull, The Glitch Mob) and TV Shows and Movies (Dave Grohl’s “Sound City,” “Howl” starring James Franco and Jon Hamm).

Playster’s free proprietary, Android-based tablet comes preloaded with the bestselling video game “Modern Combat 5: Blackout.” Additional features include:
