Last night, the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) held its 17th annual Service to America Awards at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Numerous stations from around the country received recognition for their efforts to promote and support public service and community initiatives. Award winning actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise received the NABEF’s highest honor, the Service to America Leadership Award. Deborah Norville, host of the nation’s top-rated syndicated newsmagazine, “Inside Edition,” served as the master of ceremonies, and Grammy Award-winning artist Michael Bolton provided the evening’s entertainment.
