Mathew Knowles and Music World Gospel Present an ESSENCE Music Festival Superlounge Showcase at the Louisiana Superdome on Sunday, July 3. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and showtime is at 7:00 p.m.
The showcase features artists on the Music World Gospel roster, including Trin-i-tee 5:7, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Brian Courtney Wilson and Micah Stampley. The event will be hosted by Pastor Rudy Rasmus, Music World Gospel Ambassador, and host of SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio’s new show, “Pastor Rudy’s Love Revolution.”
Knowles is charting new territory with his latest venture and passion, Music World Gospel. The faith-based record label and management company is dedicated to producing and promoting the best in gospel, Christian and inspirational music, entertainment and ministry. “One of our goals is to be the number one faith-based record label worldwide within four to five years,” said Knowles, founder, President and CEO of Music World Entertainment. “We have a stellar roster and some of the best talent in the industry with a team dedicated to excellence.”
Music World Entertainment is the official music partner for the ESSENCE Music Festival. During the music festival holiday weekend (July 1, 2 and 3), Music World Entertainment and Beyond Productions (booth # 220) will present a series of performances (see schedule below for dates and times) at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. In addition, Music World Entertainment will have the official “must have” CD/DVD of the festival’s live experience, along with other top title releases, artist(s) signings, giveaways and more.
