Live Nation Entertainment Acquires Voodoo Music & Arts Experience

Kid-RockLive Nation Entertainment has acquired Voodoo Music & Arts Experience, ’ critically-acclaimed music festival. The annual music and art celebration has hosted a wide range of artists from Metallica and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Neil Young and Skrillex.

This year Voodoo will celebrate its 15th anniversary with , Pearl Jam, , , Paramore, Bassnectar and many others.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Live Nation team,” said Stephen Rehage. “Our outlooks on the festival market are aligned and we look to grow the Live Nation festival roster over the coming years.”

“Stephen has built a remarkable brand and I’m looking forward to working with him to continue to enhance Voodoo and the other Live Nation festivals in the U.S.,” said Bob Roux, co-president of North America concerts, Live Nation Entertainment.
The 2013 Voodoo Music & Arts Experience is scheduled for Nov. 1 – 3 in New Orleans.
