LESLIE FRAM JOINS NEW YORK’S 101.9 RXP AS PROGRAM DIRECTOR

101.9 The York Rock Experience today announced the addition of rock programming veteran Leslie Fram as .

“We’re excited to bring a true rock innovator and radio brand builder into the programming seat of 101.9 RXP,” said Market Manager Dan Halyburton. “RXP is breaking new ground in the radio industry and she is th perfect person to lead this unique brand to success.”

“RXP truly reflects New York’s vast musical heritage, while at the same tim embracing new music and the evolving New York rock scene,” said Leslie Fram. “I can’t think of a better place to take my experience and passion than this great rock brand and amazing city.”

Fram began her career in progressive rock radio at WABB in Mobile, Al., which
later became a powerhouse for the Gulf , as Program Director and
afternoon drive talent. She has spent the last 17 years at one of
Alternative radio’s premiere stations, 99X/ as Program Director and Co-
Host of “The Morning X.” Fram was one of the architects of Susquehanna’s
innovative brand that became a success story and led to the explosion of the
format in the early 90’s. She is responsible for breaking the careers of many
, supporting and nurturing the local music scene and devoting many
hours to non-profit organizations. She also has an incredible track record of
finding and grooming talent. Some of her numerous awards include being the
first female recipient of the T.J. Martell Award, several Program Director of
the Year, honors from both R&R and , a recent A.I.R. LIfetime
Achievement Award and holds a vice president Seat for the Atlanta Grammy
Chapter.
