Ken Johnson, iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel)’s Director of Urban Programming announced yesterday a position that will focus on social network marketing to promote urban radio. Innovative thinking like this doesn’t surprise me coming from Ken but it would surprise me if another urban radio station did the same thing (I kill me). We wish Ken great success in this new venture. The position for stations Power 99 fm and WDAS FM will be hand led by Tazz Daddy as Director of Social Media.
