Kizart Media Partners Presents The Power of Urban Radio Forum

1300287249shermankizartThe 15th Annual Power of Urban Radio forum will be presented in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday,
October 7 and Thursday, October 8, 2015 by Kizart Media Partners, Inc. (KMP) in association with the
National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB). The conference will host a forum of CEOs
and global marketers including McDonalds USA, AARP, Toyota USA, Tracfone and Well Fargo at the
Marriott Georgetown Hotel.
Edna Kane-Williams, Senior Vice President/Multicultural Marketing of AARP will deliver the luncheon
keynote. There will also be a special guest appearance by Judy Smith, Executive Producer of the highly
rated ABC-TV drama, “Scandal.” Sherman Kizart, Managing Director and Founder of Kizart Media
Partners, Inc. states, “This promises to be the most impactful Power of Urban Radio Forum yet. We
bring together a powerful lineup of national leading advertisers, media agencies, broadcast owners and
executives for an event referred to as best in class.”
The National Marketing Executives Panel, led by Detavio Samuels, President of One Solution, will include
marketing executives from McDonald’s USA, AARP, Toyota USA, Tracfone and Well Fargo discussing the
strategic importance of the African-American consumer market to the success of their companies as
well as the tactical importance of Urban Radio.
Global Media CEOs from Media Vest-USA, OMD-USA and Optimedia will discuss the future of media
planning and placement as it relates to the world’s leading advertising and marketing trends impacting
Urban Radio. Erica Farber, President and CEO of the Radio Advertising Bureau, will lead discussions
about current and future advertising and marketing trends impacting Urban Radio. Dr. Karen Streeter,
National Radio Host of “On The Couch With Dr. Kay” will MC the 2015 Power of Urban Radio Forum that
brings influential industry experts to discuss the value of the $1 Trillion African-American market.
Co-Chairmen of the event are Jim Watkins, General Manager of WHUR-FM in Washington, DC, Steve
Swenson, Senior Vice President and Market Manager for CBS Radio in Washington, DC and Jeff Wilson,
Senior Regional Vice President of Radio One in Washington, DC.
