Kevin Black, Urban Network and XUMANII TEAM up for the THE 2010 MIAMI MUSIC FESTIVAL

Revolutionary LIVE Media Production, Marketing, and Social Networking Site Brings Various Properties to the World

NEW YORK, NY (August 2nd , 2010) ““ On the heels of its recent debut, XUMANII, the revolutionary LIVE media production, marketing, and social networking site, announced today a partnership with premier entertainment publication and multimedia company The Urban Network.   As part of the agreement, XUMANII will produce and distribute live streaming content from a number of forthcoming Urban Network sponsored concerts, tradeshows and events including the return of the highly popular Miami Music Festival November 12-14; 2010 IDJ Awards and Trade Show, held in Atlanta August 8-12; Kevin Black’s “The Circuit Nationwide Talent Search,” and more.

By encompassing and surpassing the best of Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, Ustream, and others, XUMANII provides individuals and brand s a personal channel through which to produce professional grade live content programming to the world in a way that has never been done before.

“For over a decade, Urban Network has been developing some of the most compelling content and events in the entertainment community.   We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with their team on these and other future projects and look forward to helping to bring their various properties to a new level via XUMANII’s groundbreaking marketing and social networking offerings.   We equally look forward to working with legendary music industry powerhouse, Kevin Black, on expand ing the reach of his talent search worldwide,” said XUMANII Creator and CEO Alex Frigon.

XUMANII allows users to stream live footage in near perfect resolution directly to ones’ personal profile page with little more than a consumer grade or professional grade camcorder and wireless enabled laptop. XUMANII provides a Stream Manager Program for multi-camera productions and live editing, which enables users to easily produce concerts, video blogs, plays, fashion shows, movies, and other content to be shared via the web.  XUMANII also gives its users the ability to set a price and sell “˜’digital tickets” (ala Pay-Per-View),  access sponsorship support for their live production by giving the option to sell banner space on profile page, or add pre-recorded commercials to their live streaming content.

Commenting on the alliance, Arthur Mitchell, VP of Urban Network stated, “Streaming online video is the future of live entertainment and XUMANII is leading the way with its cutting edge media production, innovative marketing and advertising capabilities and user generated content vehicle.

When our program director Harold Whaley brought this to my attention for consideration, I could think of no better partner to assist our growth in this area, especially as we look to bring back the Miami Music Festival as one of the largest multi-genre emerging artist and new music festival in the country. And with XUMANII we can present our events and showcases to the world while generating an entirely new and substantial income source. And to be able to do this in today’s economy is nothing short of amazing!”

“˜’We are on the lookout for many more partnerships and events like these to be broadcast LIVE on XUMANII,” states Tand y Weems, Chief Business Development Officer. “At a time when many events are finding it increasingly difficult to sell tickets, XUMANII offers a way to potentially double or triple revenues by opening their doors to the world via the web.  Artists and event organizers can now reach their entire global fan base, selling affordable e-tickets for LIVE streaming concerts and events while adding little additional overhead costs.   That’s the power of XUMANII!”
