Kendrick Lamar, who hadn’t been in the UK for 3 years, sat down with Radio 1’s Annie Mac to talk about his new album To Pimp A Butterfly. The Compton emcee discussed his elaborate process for creating, touring, and even the next album. He also talks about his childhood growing up in Compton and trying to accept the title of being a role model.

Kendrick seemed to be deep in his thoughts when he reflects and an incredible moment from his childhood that may have been his saving grace.
