Kendrick Lamar and TDE Discuss Charleston Shooting and Media Sparking a Race War

If you missed the BET Awards, Kendrick Lamar opened up the show with an uplifting performance of his song, “Alright.” Prior to the show Kendrick sat down with his TDE brothers to discuss the direction of their music with Hot 97’s Nessa. Kendrick specifically talks controlling his art and not playing radio politics. TDE also discussed a potential group album which is a topic they rarely discuss or want to discuss.

Things got interesting when Kendrick, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and the rest of the TDE crew spoke on the Charleston shooting. They discussed the media and other forces feeding the energy for a potential race war. Check out the clip below to see what else they had to say.
