K104 (KKDA-FM) & the Buck Wilde Morning Show helps families with Hip Hop 4 Hunger.

/>Hip Hop 4 Hunger Is Making A Difference

The hunger gap is widening for so many families in the metroplex that the Buck Wilde Morning Show from K104 (KKDA-FM) has decided to help by collecting can goods with a food drive called Hip Hop 4 Hunger. After a couple weeks of successful collection stops at various outlets throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth area, The Buck Wilde Morning Show will broadcast live this Friday, November 19th from 6 am to 10 am at Buttons Restaurant, 15207 Addison Rd. in Addison. The donations have been so overwhelming that over 10,000 cans of food will be used to build a pair of 7 ft. tall Adidas tennis shoes on the day of the broadcast, which will symbolize hip hop’s commitment to stomping out hunger in our communities. Buck Wilde said, “We heard that local food pantries were running really low this year, and we knew that we could bring people together, so we decided to do some good in the hood and make a difference.”

Listeners who stop by Buttons Restaurant to drop off can goods will receive a Free Breakfast, and as an extra incentive, will also have a chance to win concert tickets and take pictures with the Dallas Mavericks Dancers and the Mavs Man.

K104, along with Smooth R&B 105.7 (KRNB) and Soul 73 (KKDA-AM) are owned by Service Broadcasting Corp. which is recognized throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area as a community leader with a proud heritage of serving the needs of its listeners.
