TODAY is a huge day for us at +FE Music personally and professionally.
During The Foreign Exchange’s Texas tour run in September 2010, Chris Boerner (+FE’s live guitarist) played an EP that he had recently produced titled Falling in Carolina by his old friend JEANNE JOLLY. Upon first listen, Phonte, Nicolay and I were simply blown away and became instant fans; a month later, I bought 10 copies of the EP just to pass out to family and friends. Long story short, due to a last minute change only days away from the DVD recording of Dear Friends: An Evening with The Foreign Exchange, Jeanne was added as co-lead for the “Laughing at Your Plans“ track, and that’s where you could say the rest is history. If you have seen any of the Authenticity dates during the 2011/2012 year, you would have been introduced to the NC native, however if you didn’t get a chance to see us live, you would be familiar with her on other +FE Music releases like Dear Friends: An Evening with The Foreign Exchange single release “Steal Away”, “Everything is Falling Down” & “Who Loves You More” from Phonte’s solo release Charity Starts At Home as well as on Zo!’s Just Visiting Three with the track “Same ol Love”.
Last week, we proudly announced that Jeanne Jolly’s new album Angels will be released on our label on October 2; the 10 song LP produced by Chris Boerner features the single “Sweet Love” which is available for DOWNLOAD. We truly hope you enjoy Jeanne Jolly as much as we do here.
