No matter what you say about hip hop’s past, yesterdays rappers may have admired Hollywood’s gangsters, 70’s Blackplotation Celebs and even jewels, hos, cars, bling and a big ass bowl of cereal, but all that has changed and now today’s rapper strives to be the top entreprenuer at marketing not only his name but various products. Jay-Z settled for the runner-up position with an impressive $82 million, even though he’ll probably claim that his figures were underestimated like he did last year. , another mogul who challenged last year’s list, rounds up with the Top 3 with a paltry $35 million.
