Hip Hop Says Bye to One of Its Pioneers – R.I.P Kool DJ AJ


With one Instagram post, the legendary Kurtis Blow let the world know that Kool dj AJ, a pioneering hip-hop dj died Wednesday September 9th of unknown causes.

AJ was instrumental in Kurtis Blow’s career as well as Busy Bee. He worked as a dj since the late 70’s and continued into the 90’s and he officially retired from the game in 2010. RFFocus would like to send our condolences to Kook dj AJ’s family, friends, loved ones, and anyone he touched.
