“ EGYPT ” WRAP A WEEK LONG HOSTING STINT ON 107.5 WBLS-FM WITH ALL-STAR LINEUP

Radio/TV personality and blogger (www.EgyptSaidSo.com), , brings a power-packed week of hosting the afternoon slot on 107.5 WBLS –FM to a close. Egypt quarterbacked the highly coveted afternoon shift with thought-provoking conversation about relationships and current affairs, capped off by compelling interviews with an ALL-STAR lineup of celebrities. The 2pm-6pm slot on WBLS was recently vacated by Wendy Williams.

Egypt ” SHERROD is a nationally syndicated television & radio personality and blogger.   1. Egypt seems like the perfect choice for that slot. She’s intelligent and edgy at the same time. The key is that NYC knows her and she knows NYC. Let’s see how the Suttons play this one out. Hopefully they’ll allow the PD to choose the next afternoon host.

  2. I hope Egypt gets the afternoon gig at WBLS. She’s one of the few talents out there who has the major market radio experience, but also brings the outside high profile exposure to the table. The station needs both in order for that daypart to grow for the long term. Sorry folks Salt & Pepa just ain’t going to be able to cut it. Mark my words.
