Dallas Austin Named as Senior Vice President of A&R for Island Records

 width=In more artists/producers becoming executives news,   officially announces the addition of Grammy Award winning producer/musician Dallas Austin’s new position. Mr. Austin will step in as the Senior Vice President of A&R and report to Barry Weiss, the Chairmain & CEO of Universal Republic and Island Motown.

I look forward to discovering new talent and continuing to build on Island Records’ storied history.”    Austin has built a strong catalogue and legacy in the industry with a number of hits from TLC, Pink, Monica, Boyz II Men amongst others.
