Cox Media: 107.3 JAMZ (WJMZ) extends #1 Ranking

 width= Group Greenville announced that 107-3 JAMZ / -FM was the top rated (Persons 12+, Monday-Sunday, 6 am to 12 Midnight) in the Winter 2011 report released for Greenville/Spartanburg. 107-3 JAMZ claimed the #1 position for the thirteenth consecutive rating period. 107-3 JAMZ also led the market (Monday-Sunday, 6 am to 12 Midnight) with 18-49; with Men, Women and 25-54; and 35-64.  “We were pleased to deliver great ratings again. Winning every daypart with 25-54 is difficult, so we feel real good when it happens. JAMZ is a special radio station. We have a great staff and they make this possible. They work hard to provide great programming entertainment for our and they consistently deliver. Our know what to expect with JAMZ,” said Steve Sinicropi, and General Manager for Cox Media Group.

HOT 98-1/-FM, which recently acquired a second signal at 94.1 FM to expand coverage in Spartanburg, and added the “Murph Dawg & CJ” in September 2010, rose to a five book high 10.5 share and tied for #2 with Adults 18-34 (Monday-Sunday, 6 am to 12 Midnight).  “We were also pleased with HOT 98-1’s ratings for Adults 18-34,” Sinicropi said. “We are seeing higher ratings from the expanded signal and the new Murph Dawg and CJ . I think the ‘iPad a Day Give-away’ in April and May and the ‘Beat the Bomb’ cash contest on-air now will make our spring book even better.”
