Cong. Maxine Waters, CBC Foundation to Host Unveiling of Nielsen’s New African American Report

WHAT: Nielsen chooses the CBC conference to release the seventh annual report on African-Americans at the 47th Legislative Conference alongside esteemed hosts and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. The 2017 report, African-American Women: Our Science, Her Magic, includes never before seen data and consumer insights on African-American women’s consumer preferences and brand affinities that are resonating across the U.S. mainstream and driving total Black spending power toward a record $1.5 trillion by 2021.

The in-depth report delves into a number of findings based on Nielsen research and studies spanning economic vitality, entrepreneurship, education, technology, media consumption and consumerism.
