, Inc. today announced that Chief Communications Officer Lisa Dollinger has been named one of the Most Powerful and Influential Women of Texas by the National Diversity Council and Texas Diversity Magazine. The annual award recognizes Texas women who display leadership excellence, a record of career accomplishments, and commitment to the well-being of the community.

Dollinger and her fellow honorees were recognized this week at the Most Powerful and Influential Women of Texas Breakfast during the National Diversity Council’s Seventh Annual Diversity and Leadership Conference. Working with Texas Diversity Magazine, the National Diversity Council selects outstanding women leaders in business, higher education and the public sector from across the state for the annual Most Powerful and Influential Women of Texas list based on criteria that reflect the Council’s mission to be both a resource and an advocate for the value of diversity and inclusion.

Drawing on 20 years of experience in strategic communications and marketing, Dollinger provides executive leadership for iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel)’s communications initiatives, serving as chief communications strategist and spokesperson for the company. Dollinger is a long time advocate for women and diversity in the workplace and one reflection of her efforts is iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel)’s perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index for four consecutive years.

A popular public speaker on the topics of corporate social responsibility, diversity and women in the workplace, Dollinger has been a featured speaker at the Texas Conference for Women, and numerous national conventions and symposiums, including last year’s Healthy Media Images for Youth Summit in Washington, D.C. Dollinger is a national board member of the Alliance for Women in Media/American Women in Radio Television, and has been a national judge for radio and television’s Gracie Awards for many years. She also serves on the boards of the Library of American Broadcasting; Blue Star Contemporary Arts Center; the National MS Society, Lone Star Chapter; and on the advisory councils of The University of Texas at Austin’s College of Communication, The University of Texas at San Antonio’s College of Liberal and Fine Arts, and the USO. She is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society. Dollinger graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, with a B.S. degree in Organizational Communication.
