October 29, 2015 – iHeartMedia Chicago, one of the largest Chicago radio broadcasters with nearly 5 million weekly radio listeners, supports the Chicagoland community with the introduction of 21 new partners through iHeartMedia Communities, the community engagement division of the company. “iHeartMedia Chicago radio stations are the foundation of the Chicagoland community.
We are committed to using our resources and on-air personalities to create awareness about the services available from these 21 partners and other nonprofit organizations in our local community,” said Matt Scarano, Market President for iHeartMedia Chicago. iHeartMedia Chicago has adopted a streamlined application and interview process for nonprofits interested in receiving in-kind media that allows for more collaborative partnerships and equal consideration for Chicago organizations. iHeartMedia Chicago relies on its Local Advisory Board, a group comprised of 43 iHeartMedia Chicago executives and leaders in the local community, government and education system to help guide their support of community organizations.
