CBS Radio Stations Shine as Marconi Radio Awards Finalists

cbs_radio_650-1.jpgThe National Association of Broadcasters () announced the finalists for the 2016 , and 15 stations and personalities were featured on the list, nearly double the number from last year. The have honored radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in broadcasting since 1989.

“We were thrilled that the NAB has selected a large number of our stations and personalities as finalists for this year’s Marconi Awards,” said Andre Fernandez, President, CBS RADIO. “To see three of our own nominated in two separate categories – ‘Classic Hits Station of the Year’ and ‘Sports Station of the Year’ – truly demonstrates our strength in those formats and the caliber of talent behind each station. Congratulations to all.”

The winners will be announced Thursday, Sept. 22 at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show during the 2016 Radio Show in Nashville, Tenn.
