Radio One Philadelphia’s BOOM 107.9 FM partners with Philly’s own hip-hop sensation, Freeway to present FREEFEST 2015 on Saturday, September 19th at the Electric Factory.
FREEFEST is expected to attract several thousand attendees. The outdoor festival will feature Philadelphia’s finest vendors, a DJ Showcase, and hot hip-hop performances by local artists. The free, ticketed concert will feature Freeway and surprise appearances by his cohorts in hip- hop.

Freeway, a North Philadelphia native emerged in the late ‘90s as a socially conscious rapper with
a golden tongue that captured the attention of Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records. Making his mark in
hip-hop history, Freeway produced four successful solo studio albums. After over a decade of
success, he maintains the legacy of one of hip-hop’s most distinctive voices.
