Billboard Latin Conference Returns to Miami Beach

Billboard is having our 26th anniversary in Miami Beach, and we’re doing it in style. Our conference this year takes place at the gorgeous Ritz Carlton in the heart of Miami Beach, celebrating The Top Artists, The Top Trends and The Top Names in Music.”As the largest, longest-running conference dedicated to the Latin music industry, we pride ourselves on a tradition of excellence and cutting edge, and we are thrilled to say that our celebration goes hand in hand with the centennial celebration of Miami Beach!

This means that in addition to bringing key industry players and top artists, our conference will also boast a uniquely festive spirit, manifested in a plethora of showcases during the day and night, plus stellar Q&As, cutting edge presentations and case studies and the gathering of some of the brightest minds in music, technology and branding today. We are also thrilled to welcome marquee sponsors like Pepsi, MillerCoors and Buchanan’s to the most important gathering of the Latin Music industry. We are so immensely proud of our Billboard Latin Music Conference and the huge impact it has on our marketplace. Every year, this is the place from which careers are launched, products are presented, ideas are tested, deals are brokered and artists are discovered. We have long provided our attendees with MORE benefits than anywhere else. And in 2015 we plan to continue down that path.

After a stunningly successful debut last year, our schedule of events will again feature Monday afternoon One on One sessions where up and coming artists and executives will get the opportunity to meet one on one with key executives and thought leaders. Thanks to overwhelming support from our attendees, we will also bring back our Roundtable sessions on Wednesday afternoon, to allow even more networking and access. In order to bring the marketing and music industries even closer together, our annual Music & Marketing Awards in partnership with the CLIO Awards, will take place together with our industry awards. We will honor, in one room, the top labels and publishers of the year, alongside the top music and marketing campaigns of the year. Once again, the new Billboard Music & Marketing Awards, powered by CLIO, will be the only award in the world that recognizes the convergence of music, branding and advertising in the Latin space. We are partnering with top promoters, artists and brands to bring the best and biggest artists to our showcases, in addition to providing ample opportunity for new talent to shine. This year we inaugurate our intimate En Vivo concert series, featuring top acts performing in venues across the country.And of course, our landmark panels and showcases—the BMI “How I Wrote That Song” panel, ASCAP’s acoustic showcase, the SONY ATV Iconic Songwriter Q&A, and our signature, unparalleled Q&As with the like of Romeo Santos—will all be part of our schedule.

Of course, it all culminates with the Billboard Latin Music Awards—the only Latin music awards determined by real chart success—airing live on the Telemundo network April 30.
