BEN HILL APPOINTED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND MARKET MANAGER, CBS RADIO WEST PALM BEACH

 width=Industry veteran Ben has been named and , Beach , it was announced today by Scott Herman, Executive Vice of Operations for the Company.   The appointment is effective immediately.

Hill, who was previously President and General Manager of CBS RADIO’s WPGC in Washington , D.C. from 1987-2001 and led the station to No. 1 in ratings and revenue, will now oversee Palm Beach ‘s five stations including WEAT, WIRK, WNEW, WMBX and WPBZ.

Said Herman of the appointment, “Ben is a results oriented manager with uncompromising stand ards.   His enthusiastic style of leadership and level headed approach to business will undoubtedly help our West Palm stations grow and succeed.”

In addition to CBS RADIO, Hill has served as a Regional Executive for Infinity Broadcasting, overseeing stations in Atlanta , Baltimore , Dallas , Charlotte and Houston .   Furthermore, he has served as Market Manager for Pamal Broadcasting’s Gainesville/Ocala cluster of seven stations and President of Cook Inlet Partners.
