Beau Phillips Joins Dial Global

Programmer and marketer Beau Phillips has joined , as Executive Vice President of Programming. His responsibilities will reach across ’s 24-Hour Formats, Programs and Services, which are bartered to stations in the US.
“With Dial Global’s acquisition of Radio last week, our depth of programming is greatly expand ed,” commented Kirk Stirland , President of Dial Global Programming. “Beau will focus on making our programs and services best-of-breed, and set them up so both our affiliates and our sponsors can benefit.”
“Just executing a format at radio won’t be good enough. By joining Dial Global, I hope to be part of the solution for radio stations,” said Phillips, of his new role. “My mission will be to deliver more entertainment value, more engaging content and more inspired personalities.”
Phillips is a respected programming and marketing leader, with experience in radio and television. He started as an air personality in Denver and before taking the PD reins at KISW, Seattle, where he spent 14 years, the last five as /GM. There, he earned a national reputation for breakthrough programming and promotions, winning several industry awards. Beau then launched WRZX, Indianapolis, scoring the highest debut share in the market’s history.
Beau joined Networks as SVP/Marketing at VH1 in 1997, where he helped reinvent the channel’s vision and created campaigns with Madonna, Sting and the Rolling Stones.
Later, Beau was VP/Programming at MJI, developing numerous shows, services and features.
Phillips formed Rainmaker Media in 1999 as a vehicle to show how to use radio more effectively. Rainmaker has worked with America’s finest companies, including Nintendo,, Television, , Sears and numerous concert tour sponsors. Last year, Adweek magazine recognized Rainmaker Media with the “Best Promotion” award for Snapple’s Commercial- Summer on WFNX, Boston.


  1. Beau Phillips is a narcissistic piece of human waste who has no clue what he is doing. He got this job because his best friend and lover Kirk Stirland is the President of the company. But he tinks he’s great just ask him. What a douchebag!
