Everybody and their momma has been waiting on Apple Music to reveal what it is going to bring to the market. There was a lot of speculation, a few investigations, and even some predictions. The music streaming business is heavily competitive market and Apple had to come with their “A” game.  Some say they absolutely did.

During their highly anticipated announcement, Apple brought out industry heavyweights like Jimmy Iovine and the extremely popular Drake to help bring it home. The music producer Jimmy Iovine called the service a ‘revolutionary music service’, while Drake said, ‘Can’t wait to incorporate Apple music and especially Connect into what I’m doing next.’ The new app features a radio-streaming service called Beats 1 and the ability to connect musicians to fans around the world

The service will launch in more than 100 countries on 30 June, and would cost $9.99 per month in the US for one person. In the end, Apple Music is an interesting blend of services including live radio, music streaming, music discovery and social connection with artists.
