12 Years a Slave Wins The Big Prize at the Golden Globes

slave11n-9-webI actually saw that movie “12 Years A Slave” and although it was hard to watch I must say it was a good film and the acting was phenomenal. Steve McQueen’s portrayal of lthe 1853 memoir by , a free man who was kidnapped into slavery in 1841, was the most-nominated of the night with seven total nominations. Damn the nominations because at the end of the day it’s all about the awards and the accolades. “12 Years A Slave” was named Drama at the 71st annual awards being the only win for the film on this special evening in Hollywood.
