101.9 RXP THE NEW YORK ROCK EXPERIENCE
announced today the launch of their new website at www.1019RXP.com.
The new site provides an online network and informational hub for fans of alternative, classic rock and new music as well as local artists in the tri-state area. The site includes capability for local bands to upload their bio information, videos and audio to be considered for 101.9 RXP airplay. Local bands can also upload their band’s bio information and performance schedule so that the 101.9 RXP community can come together and show support.

Other features on 1019RXP.com include interactive channels focusing on both mainstream and local artists, an extensive concert calendar reflecting the entire tri-state rock scene, live streaming of 101.9 RXP, on-air playlists, a Now Playing section to view the stations playlist in real time, on-air personality bios, and exclusive contesting opportunities. 101.9 RXP launched February 5th, 2008 and represents a new Adult Rock station in the New York tri-state market which merges New Music, Classic Rock, Alternative & Local Rock into a new adult blend called “The New York Rock Experience.” 101.9 RXP features a variety of rock from artists like Franz Ferdinand, Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, Coldplay, U2, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, The Police, Beck, Radiohead, The Who, Oasis, Arcade Fire, Social Distortion and REM, as well as local acts such as Hold Steady, White Rabbits, Santogold, The National and Nada Surf.
