101.9 RXP THE NEW YORK ROCK EXPERIENCE announced today that on September 22nd they will host their first 101.9 RXP Session, an exclusive event that will allow the 101.9 RXP listener to be a part of the ultimate up close and personal Rock Experience with some of the stations’ most popular artists in New York’s most renowned locations! The first 101.9 RXP Session will feature Tennessee Rockers Kings of Leon at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan ‘s West Village . The band will perform songs off their new album, Only By The Night, scheduled to be released the following day. 101.9 RXP gave it’s listeners the opportunity to win tickets to this private event with morning show host Matt Pinfield , who will also serve as the 101.9 RXP Session emcee. 101.9 RXP will also be giving their listeners a second chance to experience each RXP Session as all performances will be recorded in their entirety and aired on the station at a later date. To celebrate the release of their new CD, 101.9 RXP will play back the 101.9 RXP Session featuring Kings Of Leon at Electric Lady Studios on Tuesday, Septembers 23rd.
